Weev in China: Hebei International Design Week and a New Partnership with Ports Group

This month, Weev's leadership team — CEO Szilard Szurdok and China Sales Director Stefan Dijanovic — traveled to China for a week spanning Hebei International Industrial Design Week and a new partnership announcement with Ports Group in Shanghai.
Hebei International Design Week
Weev joined one of the region's largest gatherings for industrial design, bringing together manufacturers, designers, and innovators shaping the next phase of Chinese industry. The event carried particular significance for Weev: Hebei is home to Xiong'an, where our first Digital Twin Center — built with our government partner XIDI — is now underway, giving manufacturers standardized access to international markets through digital twins and Digital Product Passports.
Shanghai: Partnership with Ports Group
The trip continued with a meeting with Ports Group — the fashion house behind Ports 1961, Ports Pure, Ports International, and Ports V — centered on reducing sampling costs across their development cycle and building Digital Product Passport readiness ahead of ESPR requirements.
The result: a new partnership between Weev and Ports Group, marking Weev's entry into one of China's leading fashion houses.
Looking Ahead
Both stops reflect the same principle behind Weev's China strategy: infrastructure and relationships built in person, on the ground, alongside the partners and brands the platform is built to serve.
